Turns out the talented potter who made this mug lives just a few houses down from us in Wimberley.  I took this photo on top of our mailbox at sunset.  A piece of Texas limestone was propped in the background and the moon is seen above.

In Flight

Although the picture seems to be cropped, it isn't.  These vintage prop planes at the Wings Over Houston Airshow had just come into the viewfinder as they flew across the crisp blue sky.

Lively Oak

Texans love to wrap their trees in lights for Christmas.  Can't say I blame them because they sure make for a beautiful sight as you drive around town.

Going Gruene

Melissa and Meghan are in front of Gruene Hall.  We listened to a great set by the McKay Brothers there followed by a good meal at The Gristmill.  A beautiful winter's day in Texas!
