Bird Feeder

The tripod stand for the bird feeder was made from cedar branches.    The branches are anchored to the ground using tent stakes so the critters do not topple it over.

Cactus Flowers

The prickly pear cactus has beautiful springtime flowers to enjoy.

Anolis

The anole lizards are frequent visitors to our garden. Generally, they are not too skiddish and seem to like to pose for the camera.

Nectar

We are fortunate to have plenty of plants that attract beautiful butterflies!

Firefly

We built our fire pit using stone found around our land.  The seats were made from a red oak that fell in the front of our property a week after we moved here.  Looking into a fire is like looking at the ocean...always changing, always contemplative...always good.

Turkey Trot

Turkeys passing through our front yard.  Just over a week to Thanksgiving...hope these birds are safe.
